Becoming a Z-Wave Alliance Member is easy!
We’re excited to share that the Z-Wave Alliance has now launched as a Standards Development Organization (SDO)!
In December 2019, Z-Wave Alliance, along with Z-Wave silicon provider Silicon Labs, announced they would open the Z-Wave network layer and communication protocol for the Z-Wave Specification and shift the role of the Alliance to that of an SDO. The released specification will become a ratified multi-source wireless standard that is available to all silicon and software stack vendors for development.
Since its inception, Z-Wave has stood as a leader in the wireless protocol segment, with a robust certification program, security standards that are among the most rigorous in the industry, and an Alliance comprised of a diverse group of manufacturers, integrators, and more. We look forward to continuing to serve our members. For more information about the new SDO, please visit our FAQ page.
Under the new SDO, membership levels and benefits for each category have been restructured. Please review the new membership benefits below. If you are unsure of what level of membership best fits your company you can refer to our Membership Selector Guide to help you find the best fit.
