Member News: Snap One Enhances Clare Software for Integrators & End Users

Snap One, now part of ADI, launched its latest software update for Clare, introducing several new features for integrator partners and end users designed to help increase safety and improve the overall user experience with greater visibility into systems, flexibility, and additional third party integrations. These new updates include FusionPro enhancements, ClareOne Panel and ClareHome App updates, as well as new drivers and integrations.

Integrator experience enhancements to the FusionPro backend include the addition of Account Level Trouble Conditions, allowing installers to catch and address potential issues such as low sensor signal, central station monitoring not being configured, LTE disconnected, paneloffline, and more all before signing off on a job. Additionally, with the new FusionPro System Audit Log, administrators can see when, what, and who has changed settings on an account which is critical to identifying and understanding why changes were made.

The ClareHome App now features a rebuilt backend database infrastructure, improving performance and reliability, and adding redundancies to help mitigate system issues. The App also offers integrators the ability to create multiple primary users on a single account.

“We’ve added a number of enhancements to FusionPro and the ClareOne Panel to simultaneously improve interactions between integrator partners and end users, making the system even more attractive to both ADI and Snap One partners and end users,” said Clint Choate, senior director of security market, Snap One. “We know that security and safety is top of mind for our integrator partners and their customers, so, as a combined business, we’re committed to continuing to invest in this increasingly important product category.”

For the ClareOne Panel, new integrator partner enhancements include a Security API to support third party integrations, allowing other smart home and automation systems to utilize Clare as its security component. This is similar to available integrations with Control4, where integrators can implement Control4 for smart home and automation features and Clare for security and monitoring.
