Flanders, NJ – January 8, 2018 – The Smartest House, the mother company behind the Zooz line of Z-Wave devices, has announced the latest addition to their popular light switch series. The Z-Wave Plus Smarter Switch will be revealed at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas on January 9th in the Z-Wave Alliance booth.
The Smarter Switch comes with a built-in motion detector and a light sensor, allowing users to trigger lights with motion and ambient lux levels all from one device. It also acts as a Z-Wave scene controller: triple-tap the paddle to enable a pre-programmed smart home scenario. Or simply tap the paddle once for quick on/off commands.
The innovations don’t stop there. The Smarter Switch is designed to be the simplest and most affordable way to automate multi-point lighting control, offering an upgraded solution for 3-way and 4-way configurations. All users need is to replace one switch with the Smarter Switch without having to open or rewire any other boxes, let alone purchasing additional accessory switches. The switch is built on a MOSFET transistor for flawless functionality with LED bulbs and runs on the latest S2 security protocol making it the most advanced and user-friendly product in its category.
