Spanning the Central and South American regions as well as parts of the Caribbean, Z-Wave frequencies are approved for use in the 23 countries and territories listed here.
The rapid proliferation of the Z-Wave standard across the globe has increased demand for frequency availability in new regions. With recently announced milestones of 40 million Z-Wave IoT devices shipped worldwide and 1350 certified devices, the Z-Wave ecosystem continues to dominate the smart home and lifestyle security markets. Establishing the approved frequencies allows IoT manufacturers to bring Z-Wave products to fruition in these new markets. The addition of these approved frequencies brings the total number of countries and territories where the Z-Wave wireless standard is available to 86 and now includes representation on every major continent.
