MiOS Strikes OEM Partnership With GOAP In Europe

(May 8, 2012) – Z-Wave Alliance Member MiOS announces an expansion of its Z-Wave enabled gateway and controller business with its partner GOAP. This agreement further extends the value of Z-Wave based solutions in the global market.

GOAP, a leading manufacturer and distributor of energy efficient and automation solutions, is now using the MiOS engine to add Z-Wave capabilities to its product line.

Through an OEM agreement, GOAP will be offering the MiOS engine through its NETIC brand product line that provides energy management and automation solutions to hotels, residential and business buildings and the marine segment. This new partnership will bring MiOS to GOAP’s distribution partners in Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Portugal, Serbia, Spain and Turkey.

“MiOS is very enthusiastic about this new partnership. GOAP is a major player in these markets, and MiOS’s control engine perfectly complements their existing offerings while giving them the power and flexibility to integrate even more device types,” said Lew Brown EVP of Business Development for MiOS.

“After much time spent testing controllers, GOAP is proud to select MiOS as the controller engine inside our product line. Adding this controller rounds out our solution, and advances our stronghold as the leading energy management and automation solutions provider,” says Andi Pelegrini, R&D Manager from GOAP.
