It continues to be truly an enabling technology for many applications – from consumer electronics with all its gadgets\, over smart phones\, to the many Industrial use cases for the Internet of Everything\, be it smart metering\, smart cities\, environmental monitoring\, or factory and process automation. \nFurthermore\, wireless developments continue to drive technologies on the different levels\, most notably with regards to the stunning advances in semiconductor\, algorithmic\, security\, and integration aspects. \nLegacy technologies\, like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi have seen many innovations and iterations. Fundamentally new technologies like Narrowband IoT/5G or Low-Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) have found rapid acceptance in the markets. Today preparation for 6G mobile networks is in full swing. \nWith the 21st congress program\, we will continue to provide information on novel wireless technologies and applications.
